Jaiksana Soro is a South Sudanese activist and musician - He started his music career in 2021 with the release of his single #WhereIsHome off his debut studio album titled 'I am Still Alive'. His music is greatly shaped by his personal experiences and life as a refugee which is reflected in his first release. He is better known for his activism and advocacy. At the age of 19, Jaiksana helped set up several initiatives. He is currently the team leader of Platform Africa, an initiative aimed at supporting displaced communities in Uganda and South Sudan through programs that emphasize media skills development, entrepreneurship, innovation and making culture, and promoting a peaceful coexistence through peace-building, radio, and psychological support programs to improve the wellbeing of communities and advance lives through technology-led programs.
